About WHRN

WHRN was formed in 2013 to strengthen emerging health research partnerships across Western NSW. It is the peak body for health research conducted in Western NSW and is a collaboration between universities, Local Health Districts, Primary Health Care Providers, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and non-government organisations.

Since 2013, WHRN has hosted six annual conferences to showcase the high-quality research being undertaken in Western NSW. WHRN supports regular research networking opportunities in Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange as well as virtually across Western NSW. WHRN publishes regular newsletters to over 440 subscribers to ensure members are informed about the latest rural health research news and events. WHRN is also active on Facebook and Twitter.
